Whip it!
Luke and I weren’t sure at first if we’d like the movie “Whip It”, but we totally did. It was an unexpected gem of a movie. There was a great mesh of characters and fun story line that made the movie work. I would highly recommend this movie.
Today I was looking through The San Diego Union Tribune and saw an article on Roller Derby. Looks like it’s making a come back here in San Diego County. Would be fun to watch one in person.

I’ve watched roller derby at a place in SD and those girls are crazy and some of them quite nasty. It’s entertaining, but don’t bring Corbin. Their language is usually pretty bad. This movie looks good. We’ll have to give it a try!
