March
March has come and gone and as I look through my photos I see that I have much to share.
We frequently visit the park and sometimes our friends meet us. This day the Moreland’s joined us. Corbin loved the sand and was covered in it by the time we left. He also loves to climb and enjoyed the stairs of the play structure. Oh, and he detests the swings. I don’t know why, but he refuses to sit in one. I’m sure he’ll grow out of it.

We also spend a lot of time at Grandma Nana’s. Corbin loves playing outside and petting the dogs and cat. Grandma and grandpa bought him a wagon for Christmas and it gets plenty of use when we visit. And since he’s all into opening and closing things, he enjoys climbing in and out of the wagon and swinging the door open and close.

Another place we venture often is the San Diego Zoo. Corbin is now at the age where he loves to interact with kids as well as animals. Last week was his first time in the petting zoo and loved it. He pet several goats and saw sheep, ponies, and pigs. Levi and Katy also had fun as you can see from the pictures.

We met the Moreland’s at the Aztec Park and played croquet.

We went to the Children’s Art Museum for the first time yesterday with the Moreland clan. I love when you can get into places for free. Yeah! The museum is amazing and a great place for kids to explore, play, and learn. They have a rock climbing wall, mattress room with tire pillows, cool bean bag areas, and tons of hands on workshops and rooms to explore. Too bad a membership is $85.00. It’s totally worth it if your kids are 2+ and you live near downtown, but for now I’ll just wait for more free opportunities. hehe.
