Kadie, is also 8 months old. She is such a cutie pie. She has this funny growl thing she does and the face that goes with it is priceless.

Corbin is now 8 months old. Yup, he is. Believe it or not. Corbin is continuing to sprout teeth. Before long he will have two new top teeth to play with his two bottom teeth. It’s funny and sad to see Corbin with little teeth when before all you saw were gums. It means he’s growing out of his baby phase and becoming a toddler. He is still content with sitting up, lying down or standing with help until he gets restless and frustrated because he can’t move himself to where he wants to be and that’s when he starts making whining sounds &/or cries to get my attention. Poor kid…being in the high 90 percentile for height and weight is proving to be a challenge, but we are confident in time he will catch up to all the skinny babies in no time at all. Oh, and have I told you he’s a talker?…oh, my. He babbles all the time. I think he’s said mama and dada, but I don’t think he knew what he was saying, so I don’t think that counts. However, when I say “where’s dada?”, Corbin looks around for dad and always get excited and a big grin appears on his face when he sees his daddy. It’s really cute. Corbin is also starting to experience separation anxiety. The other day I left him with a good friend of mine so that I could help some friends move and he refused to drink his milk. He wasn’t cranky about it, he just pushed the bottle away and kept looking around for me. He finally ate some solid food after his second nap, but again, refused to drink his milk. When I fed him after I picked him up in the afternoon he drank his bottle without a problem. I think it was his personal milk strike. I would have been concerned, but he was in a good mood and played with his toys when he wasn’t napping, so I knew he was fine. He’d eat when he was hungry. Kids are funny like that. What do you do??? Love them and adapt I guess.
