Hand Sanitizer
posted in Whatever |I never gave much thought to hand sanitizer until 3 1/2 months ago when my son was born. Most people probably don’t. They use it because it’s good to use when you’re sick or around sick people because it kills 99.9% of germs. That’s what the commercials say anyway.
Before my son was born I ran out and bought a few bottles of hand sanitizer for when the baby arrived, but I soon found out from my brother that hand sanitizer can actually be a hazard. Most hand sanitizers have alcohol in them and that can be dangerous if you apply it on your baby’s hands and then they suck on them. They could get poisoned! Yikes! I had no idea. Needless to say I discarded the sanitizer I bought and decided to search for an alternative.
Babies R Us carries a brand called Hands 2 Go that is an alcohol free instant foam and my brother also told me of another company called Pro-Planet that also sells an sanitrol foam that is alcohol free.
