Other than my brother, all the kids in my family are girls so I’m not exactly sure what to do with a boy. I love my unborn son, don’t get me wrong…it’s just a whole new territory for me. What do you do with boys and what do they like? ((Pondering)) I’m sure they like most things girls would enjoy at least from ages 0-5 so maybe I’m over thinking this.

Wednesday night I think I felt the baby move for the first time. I know…exciting right? or not. That would have been the beginning of week 21 of my pregnancy. That’s a long time to wait for any mom. I have to say I was expecting something much more distinctive and glamorous, but there was no big thud or feeling of a little foot poking or jabbing me. Instead, the movement felt more like an internal soft bump or graze. If I had been moving I wouldn’t have even noticed it, it was that soft. I guess I’m excited, but since there was nothing distinctive about it, I could have just had a gas bubble for all I know. Oh well…soon enough there will be no doubts and he’ll be keeping me up at nights will all his kung fu moves. I can’t wait!
